This is almost the only scene where Siri appears in the headset. Voice control is bound to play a key role in mixed reality headsets.
When I used Vision Pro , there Phone Number List were many moments when I felt that commanding with my voice was much better than manipulating the virtual interface with my hands.
However, Siri was not activated on the demo headset. Perhaps it's because Siri isn't powerful enough, and relying too heavily on Siri can make other Vision Pro interface tasks seem mundane.
The anti-social nature of devices like the Vision Pro could be strengthened if all users sitting alone in a chair or lying on a sofa rely solely on voice commands. Being comfortable talking to Siri means being in an environment where you can't hear other people, which is far from the impression Apple wants to give at the moment.
It's hard to imagine that Vision OS won't be a platform that's strongly connected to Siri. Vision OS and Siri are a perfect match.
Will integrate with other Apple devices
The Vision Pro feels like a companion to the iPad and iPhone. You can also run iOS apps independently without being connected to another device. Still, there weren't many examples of Apple's most popular products being directly integrated with Vision Pro during the keynote.
It may not be at launch, but it's clear that the iPhone will be closely connected to the Vision Pro. Apple introduced a widget feature in macOS Sonoma that displays iPhone widgets on the Mac desktop. What if we expanded these features to Vision Pro? What if you connected to more than one app at a time?
Of course, you can look down at the iPhone in your hand while using Vision Pro, but it will be a very limited experience. I believe Apple is trying to find a way to leverage the Continuity feature to tie all other devices, especially the iPhone, tightly together with the Vision Pro.
There is still some time left before Vision Pro is released. I listened carefully to Apple's sales strategy announcement. However, there is still a lot of work to be done before the contract can be concluded. There needs to be more to the story than has been told so far. Let's keep watching.
